(Kithood) 

She was born to Pooldream of BoulderClan and Darkshadow of LichenClan. Pooldream was her mother and Darkshadow was her father. Many cats did not accept her or her siblings once they returned to Boulderclan camp. Her father, Darkshadow was forced out of camp before she could even memorize his scent. Her siblings were Weaselkit, Timberkit, Echokit, and Webkit. They had peaceful lives in the nursery with their mother for a few moons until one of Boulderclan's warriors struck out at her. Sandstrike stole Whisperingkit from her mother and attempted to throw her from the high rock. She was terrified, but Pooldream caught her. A long while after, she began to realize Sandstrike was sorry for trying to hurt her. Whisperingkit begun to trust Sandstrike since she saw he had changed. He showed no aggression since then. Maybe he had felt bad for what he did, or maybe he was just too afraid. Then her father joined Boulderclan. She was overjoyed to be able to share her life with her father. Then the flood stuck. All the clans had to abandon their camps and seek high ground. On the way there, she lost her brother, Timberkit. She grieved for him for a while. When she finally moved on, Boulderclan had found a new camp for them to live in. After moving in and getting settled, she lost her mother. Devastated and furious, Whisp  couldn't believe that she had gone and that she now only has her father and her remaining siblings. Soon after that, her father disappeared. She had shut herself out to everyone and became very depressed and nasty. To get over her mother's disappearance, She began to search the territory for her. A moon after searching for her, she was taken by Nidra and Shiverstar. Of course Whisp was very happy to see Nidra again, not knowing that she was trying to rebuild ShadowClan. She then learnt that Shiverstar was her step grandfather and she began to bond with him. Just being made an apprentice, her first action was against her clan by warning her grandparents about Boulderclan's wariness of the Shades. She was beginning to question her loyalty to her clan. 

(Apprentice/Novitatehood) 

She was made an apprentice by Mudstar and was given the mentor Roseclaw. As time went by she wasn't trained. Her siblings also began to grow further from her. The disappearence of their mother hit them all hard. Soon everyone sticked to themselves. Instead of staying, she decided to finally join her grandparents. It was definitely the most difficult choice she had ever made. And saying goodbye was even harder. She was made an official Novitate of the clan and trained hard alongside her grandparents. And in her opinion, was making progress. While in the midst of training she happened to meet a tom. While hunting, she fell into a trap while in LichenClan. There was an apprentice nearby, and he followed her. He said he would help, but all he did was fall in with her. She asked his name and he replied with Spiderpaw. In the end, they had to sleep together for warmth. A while after that, they continued to meet up. The two became fast friends, but one day that all changed. They became more than friends. Whisp had fallen into the rapids while disposing of a diseased Ferret. She slipped, falling unconscious. But Spiderpaw, now fang, was there to save her. One thing lead to another and both learned of their feelings for each other. Then one day while she was at the Shades camp, she heard a familiar voice. It was her father Darkshadow. Whisp had thought he abandoned her, but that night she learned that he was really looking for her. Feeling horrible for her father, she decided to rejoin Boulderclan. Even though she was thrilled to have Swiftleap as a mentor, being in Boulderclan would threaten her relationship with Spider. So, every now and then Spider and Whisp would meet up at Storm Point. There no one would find them. One day he brought her to her favorite spot there. He then asked her to become his mate witch made her happier than she ever thought she could be. After saying a sad goodbye and returning to their clans, the wolves came. No one knew they were here until LichenClan stumbled upon their kill. Spiderfang was seriously injured by the alpha and Whisp found out a few days later. One day when she was out in the trucelands to check on him if he was there, she came across something trapped in a hole. Remembering how Spider described a wolf to her, she realized it was one. At first she was scared, but she began to pity it. After all it was stuck in a hole and starving. She decided to stay and wait until another cat came. But it wasn't a cat that came. It was another wolf. It chased her up and tree and Whisp clung to the small thing for dear life. Jayflight had found her, and was sadly taken by the wolves. Whisp thought he was dead, but he returned while they were on their journey to their new home. She was thrilled to see him and that he was alright. Well mostly. She stayed by his side until he was better, watching over him. During the migration, she was made a warrior with the name Whisperingwind. 

(Warrior/Soldierhood) 

When Whisp was made a warrior, it was one of the happiest days of her life. Although she was determined to prove her loyalty to the clan, she couldn't let Spiderfang go. She had to think of something before Mudstar found out about him. While she stressed about Spider, she noticed things. She began to feel sick and very protective over cats she wasn't even that close to. She had an idea, but wanted to wait until she was sure. Although, if she really did have kits, how would she tell Spider? And would they be safe without him there? When she finally told him, he took it better than she thought he would. He was worried he wouldn't be good with kits, but Whisp assured him he would be a great father. When the day finally came for the kits to be born, it was a joyful one. Until the last kit was born. Little Wheezekit left us too soon. But siblings however were healthy little kits. Bearkit, Smokekit, Mothkit, and Pinekit. She stayed under the two large stones that had given her shelter and protecting while giving birth. Now she is afraid to go back to BoulderClan. It was then that Vulturestar had found her. Seeing the poor state that Whisp was in, she offered her sanctuary with her shades in the caverns. Her kits grew fast, and where soon Initiates. Whisp couldn't have been prouder. But when a few days passed, and she caught rumor that Crowstar had been murdered, it wasn't long before she learnt it was Vulturestar who had done that horrible deed. Not able to bring herself to question her leader's actions, she busied herself with training her kits, just as Nidra had taught her.
