Young'un
-05 - Juniperclaw met Dustcloud-- much lovin' then proceeded to happen.
-02 - Juniperclaw becomes pregnant with her first litter, she and Dustcloud become a couple. She happily tells her much older brother, once a medicine cat, now a kittypet after retiring, the news.
-01.5 - A tragedy occurs, although what it is, is unknown. The clan that Juniper and Dust inhabit becomes corrupt, and now cats begin to disappear mysteriously. With their clan now falling apart at the seams, Juniperclaw manages to talk her brother into taking care of her unborn kits. Although she refuses to let him take her kits into a Two-Leg's home. Compromising, he makes his home in a moor near a stream.
00 - Juniperclaw gives birth in her brother's makeshift medicine den. She refuses to name the kits, being that she's afraid to get attached to them now that she's leaving.
01 - Stopwatch, Juniperclaw's brother, names the kits himself, giving them the initials of both their parents prefixes and suffixes. They become DC and JC.
02 - Juniperclaw leaves after the kits no longer need to nurse.
03 - Cute kit things. Stopwatch begins to show DC how to fish, although the kit often complains. DC is given the nickname Dang-Cat, to go along with his initials for his complaints. Likewise, his sister is called Just-Curious.
04 - DC gets his tail stuck in a tree, and dangles there for a few hours before Stopwatch retrieves him. Having broken his tail, Stopwatch tries to set it and fails. It grows wrong, and now is permanently cocked at a eighty-five degree angle. To soothe the kits nerves, he tells him stories about Clans and the nobility of the warrior code. DC becomes intrigued, although his sister doesn't seem to care.
05 - Stopwatch grows ill, DC and JC watch him die. He tells them to find a Clan. Unable to hunt, except for the rare minnow, they on DC's order, leave for a clan.
05.5 - Near starving, they stumble into a rogue group that offers them help.
06 - DC and JC hit apprentice age.

Adolescent
10 - The group that had taken them in begins to experience the same ailment that the previous clan has. Weakening, they start raiding clans for food-- DC, because of how small and nimble he was, was sent out to scout for the very clans he was told about when he was a kit.
12 - Considered big enough, DC is prompted into joining a raid. When he declines, his sister is then asked if she wanted to go in his place when his back is turned- upsetting DC. When he confronted the group, they are threatened to be thrown out of the group, unless one of them decides to join the raids. DC reluctantly agrees.
14 - JC disappears, despite DC's sacrifices to keep them safe in the group. No longer having a reason to stay, he leaves.
15 - He meets Cloudstar; relieved, and hungry, he joins the clan with little said. He renames himself Watchdog-- taking his prefix from his Uncle's suffix. He chooses his own suffix, dog, to prove he will be as loyal as one to make up for what he did in the rogue group.
Warrior
15.5 - He meets Mockingbird and several other cats. He also begins to settle into clan life, although the memory of his sister is fresh on his mind. Palebird has her son Bumblekit. Palebird's mate, Nettleberry, is exiled after getting in a fight with both the current leader and deputy.
16 - While walking out to get fish, he overhears Rowanpaw confess to a young she-cat from another clan that he killed his brother. In his shock, he does what he thinks a warrior should do and escorts the young she-cat, Featherpaw, back to Lichen Clan before confronting Rowanpaw. They get into an argument, and Rowanpaw attacks first although Watchdog refuses to fight back. He comes back limping.
17 - He meets Nettleberry, just having broken up with Palebird. A few days later he has pine needles thrown in his face by the confusing she-cat, Mockingbird. He gets into his first real fight with Nettleberry after seeing him beat a tom near the lake that he often frequents. He is given his first apprentice, Sootpaw, when he heals.
17.5 - Mockingbird goes out, and Galemask goes on a patrol. Watchdog dogging closely behind finds that they are hunting the rogue, Nettleberry who has cornered Mockingbird for reasons that Watchdog doesn't know. Galemask presumably kills the tom, sending him into the gorge. Rowanpaw becomes Rowanheart and on the day of his ceremony he apologizes to Watchdog.
18 - Dunnockwing retires, and Jayflight takes his place. Mockingbird and Watchdog become close. Nettleberry though returns to see his son- while defending the nursery, and then soon after, Cloudstar, Watchdog's stomach is ripped apart. He also is reunited with his sister, JC, although only briefly. Cloudstar looses a life from Nettleberry's attack. Nettleberry escapes, and kills Rowanheart in Lichen Clan territory while he was visiting a familiar she-cat, Featherfrost, who is pregnant with his kits.
19 - He heals, waking up from a brief coma. Life is peaceful. Poolpaw begins to see a tom from Lichen Clan, having witnessed this Watchdog voices his disapproval but does nothing to stop it-- busy with his own love life. He meets a strange smelling cat in the forest named Cinder, who persuades him to go into a cave.
20 - He becomes mates with Mockingbird.
20.5 - Mockingbird becomes pregnant, although Watchdog is confused on how this happened. Prince is welcomed into camp, and Watchdog gets into a brief spat with him. Sootpaw becomes involved with a she-cat from another clan; Watchdog makes it clear that he disapproves, remembering Rowanpaw and Featherpaw. Poolpaw becomes Pooldream, shortly after, she becomes pregnant.
21 - An adder is found in the nursery smelling of Lichen Clan, in a panic Watchdog goes to battle with the rest of the clan. He defeats an older she-cat named Crowface in battle.
22 - Mockingbird has Alderkit, Swiftkit, Cricketkit, and Baelkit. Nettleberry comes back but Watchdog manages to lose him, and now spends most his days in the nursery watching for adders, and other dangerous things. It's noted how Alderkit looks like Nettleberry but Watchdog pays no mind. He's often seen beating Prince around the ears.
23 - His relationship with Mockingbird becomes spotty. Pooldream has her litter. There's a major food shortage.
24 - Swiftkit runs out of camp, chasing after a feather-- she bumps into Nettleberry. The tom being in bad shape doesn't attack her but befriends her. When Watchdog sees this, he flies into a rage but does not attack-- due to his kit standing so close to Nettleberry. Mockingbird comes back from a walk, and sees this. While she talks to him, he takes Swiftkit and slips back to camp. It begins to rain.
25 - He retrieves Swiftkit and Weaselkit from an underground den, all is quiet. It rains a lot.
25.5 - The water in the river where Watchdog fishes has risen quiet a bit, although he pays no mind. But while his back is turned, Alderkit who had snuck up to watch him drowns-- having to bury his body in the soft mud, he reports it to Cloudstar, but then snaps at her as she tries to comfort him. Instead, he becomes extremely protective over his remaining kits. He doesn't see Mockingbird much.
26 - The Great Flood. Timberkit, Pooldream's son, dies. Angry, he snaps at Baelkit who had talked him into letting him down to run around with Timberkit, and the three clans see him break down for a brief moment. Cloudstar has Aspenwing's litter, and loses another life. While lying in the makeshift shelter, it occurs to Watchdog that JC more than likely died in the flood.
27 - Baelkit disappears shortly after, and Watchdog withdraws from the clan. Swiftkit becomes an apprentice under Aspenwing.
28 - Cricketpaw disappears. Galemask disappears. Prince, no longer a young apprentice, becomes deputy to Watchdog's dismay.
30 - Cloudstar dies, Prince becomes Mudstar. Swiftpaw meets a rogue, and persuades him to join the clan.
33 - Swiftpaw becomes Swiftleap. Watchdog is very proud of his only surviving kit.
35 - Watchdog retreats from camp, leaving for reasons unknown. Hardly saying goodbye to his family.
36 - Swiftleap is named deputy. Watchdog's eyes are injured, and he had retreated into a place safe from predators while he waits to recover. He becomes ill, losing weight rapidly. He is more than sure that he will die.
37-40 - Mockingbird looses her leg. Weaselpaw, an apprentice despite his advancing age because of extreme illness, leaves camp soon after Watchdog to die. Wolves come, waters begin to rise, the Clans panic. Watchdog's sight begins to return, and he waits for a wandering cat to come around to bring him home. He finds no patrol though.
42 - Watchdog smells out Weaselpaw who is passed out on the shore, waiting to die. Upon waking, the young tom tells him the clans are leaving. Concerened, Watchdog tends to him until the young tom is strong enough to make the journey, despite his bad eyesight. Weaselpaw leads him, by letting Watch grip his tail between his teeth, as they walked through the woods and Watchdog gave him directions to where the scents led. The strange pair come to the first migration area. Weaselpaw then ditches the old tom at the entryway, now that the scents are stronger.
42.3 - Watchdog joins the group of cats migrating through the mountains, but remains discrete. His eyesight in one eye has not recovered, and the other is blurry. After the Clan moves back in, he doesn't join them... Instead he wanders around the territory, ashamed, and not wanting to be confronted by his family.
Death
43 - Watchdog comes back to camp, shortly after he has a conversation with an old, and very dead, friend. He spends his time avoiding most of the clan fishing in the next few weeks-- but when his daughter, now leader, tells him she's pregnant he figures he should stick around more often. He leaves the camp, in high hopes to go fishing. He is making sure to avoid his previous mate, who he feels must have moved on or would rather not speak to him. While going to the lake, the earth gives underneath his feet and he falls into the water in a area that land is not easily reachable. He tires easily as he tries to make it to land, and drowns.

Cloverstep: "I enjoy your company, and I feel like I can count on you to be there for the kits. Thank you, thank you so much."
Sootfall: "Agh, what have you done? Five minutes after being named a warrior, and you get in a fight with that Lichen Clan idiot..."

Woodstock: "You. What do you think you're doing, pretending to act tough for me? Do you think that smarting off to me will really work?"
Paleberry: "Thank you for helping us... All six of us.... Out."
Lichen Clan:
"From what I've seen... You have no empathy, have you forgotten how we've helped you?"

Alderkit: "I failed you... I never cared what the others said, how they looked at you and your fur. You aren't his, you're my child. And I failed you, I lost you to the river-- how ironic. You died with the rising tide... I love you, and your mother loves you."

Thistletuft: "I saved you, and then you.. You betray us. Damn it, Thistle. I actually liked you."

Rowanheart: "I heard what happened... Although I don't know all the details-- I'm sorry, Rowanheart; I'll make sure that tom pays."
Ashpool: "I never thought I would say this-- but I do miss not seeing you around camp... But it might be for the best... If you saw what was going on now."
PaleBird: "You're son... He's turning into a fine warrior."
Nettleberry:
You're both dead and alive. Your image will haunt me for the rest of my life, and the reminder of forgetting you is now burned into my side. It is dangerous to let go.
Cinder: "What-What's going on? What have you done to me?"
Crowface:
Featherfrost:
Personality
With Strangers:
He often comes across as a loner;even though he has been in the clan for sometime, and has been meaning to get around to defleaing himself, he often appears more often than not, as a rogue. This, and his usual quiet personality, can be quite offsetting. But when confronted, he can be quite friendly, often getting along with both younger and older cats.
With Friends:
Sometimes seen as dramatic, or having a flair for the theatrical, Watchdog always pops in on the wrong moments. (Whether it's Mockingbird bathing, or his apprentice having a 'private session' with some poor Lichen Clan apprentice.) But is easily forgiven, due to how he can talk his way out of almost anything. Well, except with a few she-cats...
With Family:
Although Watchdog's allegiance lies with Boulder Clan, he would rather sacrifice his constant supply of fish, shelter, and Casanova-like adventures to be with the only family he has left. If you're thought of as family, he'll do almost anything for you, but in the end, blood is thicker than water.
In Battle:
Due to the small size of his breed, he'll often be seen trying to talk his way out of a fight rather than being beaten. Again.
Although he tries to remain on the sidelines, it always seems he ends up in the thick of things: earning him the title of Boulder Clan's 'black cat'. Although he is a strong swimmer, his lack of muscle due to the food shortage (And, sadly, being that his clan doesn't specialize in fish- his one true love.) he often loses battles more often than not; which is surprising, if you account for his background.
In Love:
He's often found putting aside his pacifistic nature, in return for a more aggressive attitude if one that he loves, (Family, or friend.) is in danger. Protective, honest, and a pervert, Watchdog will annoy anyone in his ten foot radius. But, to the annoyance of several of his clan mates, he takes things in their words, "Much too slow." And is hesitant when being serious around whoever he's attracted to. Even lying, just to keep their mind at rest.
As a Mentor:
Shoving his apprentice into the water, ruining romantic moments, even making Sootpaw clean the nursery with his tongue-- Watchdog, is an asshole. Even though he does it out of 'love'.
When Fishing:
As mentioned by other cats: "Strange," "Disgusting," and even, "Why do eat that?"
But no one bothers him during fishing; the last one who did was Nettleberry, and he supposedly 'died' afterwords.
As a Father:
"What do you mean you won't get out of the nursery? Bloody housecat, I will drag you out by your whiskers."
No.
Just, no.
Don't touch the kits.
As a Grandfather:
"What..."
