DEPUTY AUDITIONS 

Hello, Kitty of HollowClan! This is where you will audition as Deputy, since I currently do not have one. Down below you will see three scenarios. These scenarios might include the Leader going away and such. But first. *Ahem* 

Do you understand that if the leader ever becomes inactive or dies in RP, you will have to take charge of HollowClan both OOC and IC? If so, please continue to audition.

Scenario One: 

Wolfstar went out to the Moonstone and hasn't been back since dusk, and it is now sunhigh. The clan has grown anxious and patrols need to be arranged.  

What do you do? 

Scenario Two: 

Wolfstar has assigned you to lead a border patrol, but you have caught scent of a Fox in the territory. The patrol isn't even halfway finished and this is a dire situation, you don't want a fox to run into the camp and kill kits. 

What do you do? 

Scenario Three:  

Wolfstar has grown ill and is unable to do anything. He's left you in charge while he is sleeping. There is rumors running through the camp that Silentstar is going to lose a life.  

What do you do to reassure them? 

If you aren't chosen as Deputy, don't get discouraged. You'll still be a warrior and may become the next deputy, who knows?

(I am... Surprised no one had auditioned for this. Being that I'm active, and have no life, I'll give it a shot. Hopefully others will audition for it, and if you do, the best of luck!)


Yes, I understand if the leader of Hollow Clan (Currently Wolf.) was to ever go inactive, I would have to step up both IC and OOC to become leader.


Scenario One:
Wolfstar went out to the Moonstone and hasn't been back since dusk, and it is now sunhigh. The clan has grown anxious and patrols need to be arranged.
What do you do?

Climbing the stump that improvised as Hollow Clan's high rock, Orangeleaf silently groomed her paws. The clan was uneasy, she could sense that in the Queen's chatters, and how the senior warriors gave her odd looks as she passed by. She was twenty moons to young for this job, and it made her anxious just to be there. Clearing her throat, she broke her usual silence with a small nod. "Hollow Clan..." It was a slip of the tongue that stopped her, muttering curses, she steadied herself on the stump. "Hollow Clan, I assure you Wolfstar is just late... I'm sure you all know how distracted he gets..." With a sheepish chuckle, she stopped when she didn't receive reassuring laughter.
Coughing, she resumed. "It's getting late in the day, and we should expect him to be back sooner than later. A patrol is in order--" Pausing, she swallowed; the old deputy was much better at this than she was. "Ah- anyone that can hunt for themselves is encouraged to come along, with the food scarcity, we're going to have to make best of our situation. Both border patrol, and hunting patrol must be done-- even if the leader isn't here." Sighing, she leapt from the stump. Her paws shaky, she wandered to the entrance of the den to see who would come along.
Wolfstar was a big boy, he could take care of himself. The clan on the other hand, needed the comfort. She would just have to deal with it.


Scenario Two:
Wolfstar has assigned you to lead a border patrol, but you have caught scent of a Fox in the territory. The patrol isn't even halfway finished and this is a dire situation, you don't want a fox to run into the camp and kill kits.
What do you do?

Wandering lazily over the pebbled shore, Orangeleaf closed her eyes and let the sun warm her fur. It had been moons since the sun had peaked through the clouds, and she was glad to be leading a patrol on one like this. But even with the reassuring call of birds, there was something muskier in the air other than that of clan cats. Lichen Clan? No, it couldn't be. Lichen stunk far worse. Pausing, she lifted her tail to single a warning to her clan mates, "You smell something?" She didn't wait for a reply, being that she rarely spoke, etiquette while speaking she felt didn't apply to her. It wasn't a badger, she knew what that smelt like from past experiences. "I believe... There's a fox."
Pausing, she cast a glance at her clan mates. They had families back in camp, and they weren't far from it. If a fox was so close, it could represent a threat. With her adrenline spiking, she started through the marsh, her tail waving behind her for them to follow. "We'll split up, and try to round it to the border. Team work is what's important here, we want this thing away from the camp..." Pausing, she stiffened as the scent became stronger. "Don't hurt yourself, we don't have many spare warriors if you land in the medicine den."

Wolfstar has grown ill and is unable to do anything. He's left you in charge while he is sleeping. There is rumors running through the camp that Wolfstar is going to lose a life.
What do you do to reassure them?

Leaning against the entrance of the camp, Orangeleaf maintained her silence as her clanmates continued to chatter. The squeak of a kit caught her interest, and as she slowly started to understand what it was saying, she froze.

It had been less than a quarter moon when Wolfstar had left her in charge, and rumors were already spreading about him losing his life. Exhaling, Orangeleaf started towards the stump, one that she was starting to become more familiar with as she dealt with Wolfstar's behavior and mood swings, as amusing as they were. Nimbly leaping onto the stump, she cleared her throat with a sense of deja vu. She saw her mentor doing the same thing before. "Any cats that are old enough to catch their own prey," she twitched her ears, as she tried to put her thoughts in order. "I just want to settle something before I hear it again." Briskly, she licked her paw, and eyed the camp. "We have the best medicine cat a clan can hope for-- and even though Wolfstar is sick, it doesn't mean he can't hear you." With a light chuckle, she flicked an ear towards the leaders den hidden in the shrubbery.
"Wolfstar, as ditzy as he may appear, is a fighter. There's nothing to worry about, he'll swear off this illness, like he would a rogue. I'm sure you all know that." Flicking her tail for effect, the siamese continued. "Worrying is only adding more stress, and I assure you everything is, and will be, fine. Until then, patrols, patrols, and more patrols."
With a mute laugh, Orangeleaf leaped away from the stump. That had went better than she had hoped, flicking her tail, she awaited to see who was willing to secure the borders, hoping she wouldn't have to drag a cat out of their den.


('Orangeleaf' at the moment is Orangepaw. For now, I just hope this drags in new people that'll audition for the job, and if so, I might delete this. Again; best of luck for all that enter!)

[ A character I've been meaning to join HollowClan with, but haven't gotten the chance. If this doesn't qualify for the position, I understand. 8) ]

Scenario One:
Wolfstar went out to the Moonstone and hasn't been back since dusk, and it is now sunhigh. The clan has grown anxious and patrols need to be arranged.

What do you do?


The sandy she-cat would rise and creep forelegs forward into a brief stretch, green gaze scanning the familiar camp. Slits would contract as Coyotewail would catch to the agitation and uneasiness of the surrounding clan; fur along spine bristling slightly. The female would carry a proud walk forward, aiming to appear bold before her fellow clanmates, though she was rather clueless herself. Coyote would first clear her voice before vocals would call to calm the chattering clan. "Hollow Clan," The she-cat would pause while attempting to gather the right words. "Wolfstar is capable of looking after himself, and we all get distracted from time to time. Allow me to gather a patrol party, and any who are capable of hunting, I ask you to join. Despite Wolfstar's absence, we have work to do. And I'd like to see it done. A search party will be arranged." Emerald visionaries would sweep over each attentive gaze and tone would shift to strict. The tawny she-cat would begin to carry worn figure to the exit of the camp grounds, prepared to lead those who came along. 




Scenario Two:
Wolfstar has assigned you to lead a border patrol, but you have caught scent of a Fox in the territory. The patrol isn't even halfway finished and this is a dire situation, you don't want a fox to run into the camp and kill kits.

What do you do?


Coyotewail would carry figure in a light trot across the terrain, content expression showing her momentary ease. Slits narrowing to contraction as a hostile scent would shift to waft into her flared nostrils; bobbed tail wiggling. The tawny female would still physique while concentrated state of mind would aim to pin point the owner of the foul stench. "What is that-- odor?" Coyote's choice of words would express her dislike for the creature once recognition would flick on. Fur along spine would aggressively bristle as the she-cat's thoughts would swarm back to the families and clan cats at home. Ears would fold back as the american bobtail was forced to make a decision. "Two come with me, another two circle around. The rest return to camp, make sure the others are aware and cautious-- but avoid panic. Keep the kits, elders, and wounded out of harms way. We need to get it off the trail of camp. We need to lure it away." Coyotewail's words would slightly jumble as adrenaline would pump heavily through veins. Before the female would take off with two in pursuit she would give a curt nod, "be careful, and don't get too close." With that the Hollow Clan cats were off to face their mission. 




Scenario Three:
Wolfstar has grown ill and is unable to do anything. He's left you in charge while he is sleeping. There is rumors running through the camp that Silentstar is going to lose a life.

What do you do to reassure them?


The gentle breeze would briefly comfort the stressed she-cat, now weighed with the heavy duties of the leader. Wolfstar was ill, and that left Coyote in charge. Taking a long breath, the tawny female would then emerge from her hidden nest; a bold stroll carrying her forward. And once appearing, much of the surrounding chatter would subside. The american bobtail would seat herself before taking a moment to clear her throat and gather her thoughts. "Hollow Clan-- your worry for Wolfstar is appreciated, but there is no reason to panic." The she-cat would first address the crowd. "We are all familiar with Wolfstar's strength, and we cannot fail him now. I expect your normal duties to be tended to as I will be here to oversee the clan until Wolfstar will once more be on his feet. We are clan cats, and damn good ones at that. Do not doubt your leader's loyalty to fight for each of you." Coyotewail's voice would remain even-- yet proud while speaking to the clan, aiming to reassure their doubts. The she-cat would give a nod as bobbed tail would flicker, green gaze shifting over each face of the familiar cats before her.

Scenario One:
Wolfstar went to the Moonpool/stone and hasn't been back since dusk, and it is now sunhigh. The Clan has grown anxious and patrols need to be arranged.

What do you do?

Flamewing would pad to the Highstump in the camp, climbing to the top. /Patrols must be arranged, and I must reassure the Clan./ ''All cats old enough to hunt their own prey meet at the Highstump for a Clan meeting!'' She would yowl, watching the cats gather before the stump. ''Wolfstar may be gone, but we must continue with Clan duties. A border patrol will be sent out first, then a hunting patrol. I would like one warrior to lead a patrol, and take at least 3 more cats. Don't worry, I assure you Wolfstar will arrive soon.'' She would tell the Clan, doing her best to make them feel better about the time Wolfstar had been gone. She would leap off of the Highstump as the cats below went away to their duties. Flamewing would smile, as the Clan was doing well on duties.

Scenario Two:
Wolfstar has assigned you to lead a border patrol, but you have caught of a Fox in the territory. The patrol isn't even halfway finished and this is a dire situation, you don't want a fox to run into camp and kill kits

What do you do?

Flamewing gracefully stepped over the pebbles in her territory, patrolling the borders with 3 other warriors. Wolfstar had assigned her to lead a border patrol, as one was needed. The orange tabby sniffed the air, as a scent quite.. different. Her eyes went wide with fear as she realized the scent was a fox in HollowClan territory. ''Do you guys smell something... different?'' She asked, waiting for their responses.
    The cats had wide eyed expressions as they realized the scent was a fox. ''Let's make haste and follow the scent! If the fox reaches camp, it could cause havoc. We need to chase it away.'' Flamewing would meow bravely, as she always put HollowClan before her. Kits were important- they were the future of the Clan. Her eyes glinted with fear- what if the fox was already at camp? She cleared the thought, hoping the red beast hadn't reached camp.
     Flamewing lead the cats along the fox's scent, as the finally reached the red, furry beast, sitting by some bushes. The she cat lead the patrol to some bushes a couple fox-lengths away, so the fox wouldn't spot them right away. She would flick her tail in signal to attack the fox. The gorge was nearby, maybe it was staying in a cave nearby. Whatever they did, the patrol needed to get the cat off of HollowClan territory.
    The cats started leaping at the red beast, and it jumped. Flamewing let out a furious hiss, and the fox started running towards the top of the gorge. She lead the patrol to chase it away from the slope, and farther away from HollowClan territory. /Cowardly fox... but I'm not sorry!/ Her tail would lash with fury as the chase to the border continued. She would get close enough to attempt to leap on the fox, only making it scared more.
   Finally they had arrived at the border between the Truce Lands and HollowClan. The red beast hopped into the water, trying to swim away without chase. The patrol would chase it, and the finally arrived at the Truce Lands, chasing the fox farther away into the land. Flamewing went back to HollowClan territory with the 3 warriors, and continued the patrol peacefully.

Scenario Three:
Wolfstar has grown ill and is unable to do anything. He's left you in charge while he is sleeping. There is rumors running through camp that Silentstar/Wolfstar is going to lose a life.

What do you do to reassure them?

Flamewing would leap to the Highstump, yowling the famous words,''All cats old enough to hunt their own prey meet at the Highstump for a Clan meeting!'' She had knew of the rumors going around that the leader was going to lose a life, and the Clan needed to be reassured. She knew that Wolfstar's illness had worried everyone, and she was in charge while he was sleeping. She waited for the cats in camp to gather beneath the stump for the meeting.
     As the cats had finished gathering, Flamewing spoke. ''Wolfstar may be ill, and rumors are going around that he may lose a life. But I assure you, StarClan is on his side and helping him through it. All cats get better from sicknesses, some lose their lives, but I will say again that Wolfstar is going to get better before you know it. Meeting dismissed.'' Flamewing hoped that HollowClan had trusted her word, as Wolfstar could lose a life. Watching the cats go away, she would leap off of the stump.

Scenario One:

What do you do?

Oatclaw wasn't worried; his leader had a habit of not returning on time. Wolfstar had left him in charge of camp, and though he'd already sent out the dawn patrol, the Clan was still anxious. The young warrior padded up to Highstump.

"May all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highstump!" He yowled, and the Clan slowly gathered around. Some looked curious as to why the tawny warrior was where the leader or deputy usually sat, but Oatclaw had made himself popular in his few years and none objected.

"I understand that many of you are worried about our leader and deputy. I assure you, they are fine. Perhaps they have decided to take a longer route back home or fallen asleep on their way back. Keep in mind that they had not slept prior to their meeting with StarClan." He meowed, loudly and clearly. "For now, until he and Heronwing return, Wolfstar has left me in charge. Firepelt, Breezefur, Coyotehowl, and Snakepaw, I would like you to take a patrol along our southern border. Embermask, Spottedtree, and Gorsepaw will take a hunting patrol."

Oatclaw quickly left the Highstump, not wanting to stick around in such a sacred place for too long while he was not a deputy or leader himself. Upon seeing Duckfeather in the clearing, he purred and veered towards the she-cat.



Scenario Two:
Wolfstar has assigned you to lead a border patrol, but you have caught scent of a fox near the camp. The patrol isn't even halfway finished and this is a dire situation, you don't want the fox kill kits.
What do you do?

Flicking his tail to halt the patrol, the tom's brow furrows. His lifts his maw to the air, making sure that he was correct -- a fox had just recently passed through here, and they weren't that far from camp. He turned to look at the other warriors -- Breezefur, Tawnyface, Spottedtree, and Whitefang -- and all had caught the scent, shifting uneasily. His gaze landed on Whitefang, one of the senior warriors. "Whitefang, should we track it?" He meowed, and the warrior hesitated for only a moment before nodding. "Yes. It's unsafe with it still roaming. Lead the way, Oatclaw."

The newly-appointed deputy turned, nervously wondering how difficult it would be to chase the fox off. He kept his pawsteps light and quick, and when the scent began to grow stronger the patrol slowed to a halt at his signal. Ahead, the ginger creature was facing away, sniffing at a rabbit hole. While it began digging, Oatclaw lashed his tail once to let the cats know to go forward. Moments later, they charged forward, hissing and spitting. The vixen yelped, startled, before turning tail and running away in her surprise. The patrol chased after it until it crossed into LichenClan territory; they'd leave that wretched Clan to deal with the animal.

Panting, Oatclaw raised his tail in triumph. "Excellent job, HollowClan. We'll return to the patrol; we'd better inform Wolfstar of this afterwards." And with that, the five warriors padded along the shore of the winding, rushing river.



Scenario Three:

What do you do to reassure them?

The aging deputy walked along the well-trodden path to his leader's den, his gaze filled with worry. The stench of sickness was strong here; Oatclaw was sure that Wolfstar would be losing his last life, and just the thought of going on without the grey tom made him nauseous. As he neared, he heard Duckfeather's soft voice that warmed him momentarily before the she-cat left the den, a bundle of moss carried lightly between her teeth. She slowly shook her head at him, eyes distraught. Oatclaw entered in after she disappeared, disheartened, with uneasiness making his pelt prickle uncertainly once he saw how bad Wolfstar had gotten. The tom didn't greet him, curled into a tight ball. His fur was ragged and unclean.

"Hello, Wolfstar," he said, quietly. The tom rumbled something inaudible that barely qualified as a hello, but Oatclaw didn't think he had the strength for anything else. "I've sent all patrols for today, with Tawnypelt and Foxleap guarding the camp, like you ordered." He said, and at this, the leader's eyes slowly cracked open, crusted over with sickness. He shakily lifted his head.

"How are my kits?" He rasped, yellow gaze intense in the dimming light.

"Foxleap, Nightheart, and Amberclaw are all doing good. Nightheart's kits are fine apprentices." He assured him, and Wolfstar let his head rest against the moss once more, too tired to keep it up. He fell asleep shortly after, not saying anything more. Oatclaw awkwardly nodded his head before shifting his paws and leaving the den, knowing he had to make an announcement. StarClan, he hoped he'd pull through.

He padded up to Highstump, noticing that the cats of HollowClan were once more pacing anxiously. "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highstump." He called, voice echoing once around the clearing before diminishing. He noticed that Nightheart and his two kits -- now apprentices -- were the first to pad up, with Amberclaw, Breezefur, and Heroncall all following. The rest of the Clan gathered around shortly after.

"As you all know, Wolfstar is ill. I will never lie to you by promising that he will pull through." He paused as an unease rippled along the cats in the clearing, with Foxleap's face falling as she turned from the entrance to watch. Oatclaw continued, swallowing. "Wolfstar is a noble, strong cat and though I hope that he will stay our leader for many moons to come, he is not doing well. Even if or when we lose our leader, HollowClan is strong as ever, and we will all pull through this nightmare. I ask that you all get rest, for we are still under the threat of LichenClan." His eyes moved to his son. "Rushtail will lead the dawn patrol with Amberclaw, Tawnyface, and Owlgaze. Dismissed." Oatclaw yowled, climbing off of the Highstump. He knew that it would reassure HollowClan knowing that the Clan duties would continue, even with Wolfstar on his death bed, but many cats were still distraught at the very thought of losing the leader they knew and loved.

Exhausted and sorrowful, the deputy pads to the warrior's den with his tail drooping. He knows that he will get no sleep tonight.

The fae yowled. "Calm down! I will send out patrols to find the leader and he will be returned safe!" She spoke. "For now Spiderfang, Spottedpaw, Flamewing, and Mothface. I want you guys to please border around the gathering place, and Lichenclan territory. If they see you tell them your looking for Wolfstar." She said "Now I want, Sirenscreech, Dewblaze, Firepelt and, Skywish to check in Boulderclan territory. If they see you tell them your looking for Wolfstar! Also search around Elders grove." She assigned them. She assigned a few more patrols and left the can to be protecting the clan camp and territory.

All the cats nodded. "Spiderfang and Spottedpaw go warn the leader!" She told them. She spoke to the rest. "Lets try to find the den. It's best of we do. We hide our sent." She began to walk around. "Halt!" She said. She crouched down with the rest of the warriors. "Okay we have more trouble. She has babies." She said honestly. "Two come with me, another two circle around. The rest return to camp, make sure the others are aware and cautious-- but avoid panic. Keep the kits, elders, and wounded out of harms way. We need to get it off the trail of camp. We need to lure it away." Brownpatch began. "Be careful, and don't get too close." With that the Hollow Clan cats were off to face their mission.

What do you do to reassure them?
She stood on high rock. "Quiet down! I know you guys think Wolfstar might lose a life. But we don't know. The medicine cat is doing her best! But for now I want you all to calm down and relax. Please leave the medicine cat alone about Wolfstar. He needs his rest to get better or else we all know what would happen." She was reffering to him losing a life at the end. A tom growled. "What happens if you die protecting a sick leader! We will be deputyless!" He was a tall brute tom in the group of cats. "If I die protecting the leader I want Tallclaw to be deputy. He is a great friend and bound to be a great leader." She said. "Now calm down! I want to set up patrols." She said trying to get this off the cats minds.

{ I'm already the medic for BC on Jayflight but this looks like fun, and there's no harm in auditioning so hay-ho! ^^, Once Palepaw is fully trained Jays going to retire, only 4 training sessions left before she can take over and about a week or so before Sirenpaw becomes a warrior so I'm not doing this without any thought at least xD. Sirenscreach hauled himself up onto the high rock and began to sketch over all those who where below him, his icy blue eyes counting and listing every cat that he saw and arranging them into two groups, those who would stay and those who would go, leaving out the obvious such as Kits, Queens and Elders. With a loud yowl the dark pelted tom Called out to the clan, his emotion displaying nothing but trust and determination along side seriousness and slight Worry for the leader. "All cats who are well enough to travel please gather before me." He stated simply in a deep tone, his tail flickering as the cats crowded and the mumbling died down. "As you are well a wear by now, Wolfstar has lost his path from Hollowclan and as his loyal Clan mates it is OUR job to return him home safely, with this in mind I have made a list, assigning each of you to a duty, one of which you must fulfil. Team A, you will stay behind and guard the camp, I want 3 of you on the entrance and at least one by every den. Team B, you are to accompany me on a voyage to find Wolfstar, As to how long we will be gone I am uncertain so say your fair wells and get yourselves fed and treated by Pantherleap before departure." Taking a moment to let the cats take in his orders the deputy continued, his whiskers twitching and brows raised at the cats unlikely confidence. He continued with a small smirk of delight. "Team A Will consist of 10 to 13 cats. 10 warriors and 3 Apprentices of the highest training. Those cats are {Insert names here}, Team B Will consist of 8 cats exactly, All warriors since we can't afford to lose any of our apprentices along the way. The cats who will be accompanying me are { Insert names here }. We leave at sunrise, Be ready, and keep your hopes high". With that Sirenscreach lashed his tail in indication that the meeting was over and dipped his head in thanks for his clan mates attention, he then made a sharp 'U' turn and jumped down from the high rock, padding straight over to Pantherleap. "I'm leaving you and { Insert name here } In charge, in case of our disappearance I will need you two to take over. Keep the clan safe for me ok?, I know you two will be just fine." Without giving the molly a chance to reply Sirenscreach made his way over to the camps entrance, keeping an eye on those who he had instructed to follow encase they tried anything. Taking up a comfortable position the dark pelted tom awaited the others to join him and start their.../adventure/.


**Scenario Two:**

What do you do?

With the sudden flooding of his nostrils by the scent of fresh fox odour Sirenscreach turned to the few cats behind him and practically hissed in a whispering manner "Get down, cover yourselves in mud and stay low. No time for questions, just do it." He ordered, prowling forward through the mud, using his tail to coat a large surface area of himself as he went on, making his way to the back of the foxes as he glanced back at the others who where preparing themselves behind him. As the foxes began to wonder in the direction of the camp Sirenscreach's eyes shrank and he raced forwards, kicking up dirt at the larger canine species while hissing and drawing back his upper lip in a snarl in attempts to lour them his way while the one of the others ran for backup, he knew very well that there was no way the four of them alone could take down 2 foxes, it would take at least 6 of them even with the best warriors in the clan. "{Insert name here}!, Run back to camp and get { insert names here} to follow you back, tell then Sirenscreach sent you and its urgent! GO!" He yowled, rolling to one side as the foxes leapt at him, one of them just managing to catch his tail tip only to take off a good chunk of skin and leave the bone poking out. With a pain staked hiss the deputy ran further into the woods, dodging various obstacle's as he darted towards a tall oak tree. By now himself and the foxes where well away from camp and it was almost safe to say that they wouldn't be in any danger, but with his tail leaking blood he had to do something, and fast to distract them. There was still a chunk of flesh hanging from his tail as he ran up the bark and perched himself on a high branch, turning and choosing to take off the chunk that was already unable to be healed and rub it against the bark to lure them up, with any luck the two would follow him up and the branch would snap, sending them tumbling into the river and being a cat Sirenscreach could easily leap down and make his way back to camp. Shaking his tassel around in order to get their attention Sirenscreach felt his heart pumping as the two canines dug their claws into the bark just as he had and shimmied their way up. Once level with himself the tom backed up onto the very tip of the branch and began to gently bob up and down, paying close attention as the branch creaked and the fox's stumbled over their own paws. With a gasp he leapt sideways as the branch was flung upwards, the two canines being thrown about by whiplash as they came tumbling down into the river along side what had broken off from the tree. Tumbling to his side as he made impact with the soil below Sirenscreach smirked to himself "Gotcha Pooch." He mumbled under a maw full of leaves and half broken teeth, hauling himself up once more as his tattered tail dragged across the soil and he limped on one side, although he had hurt himself in the process, he had saved the clan....for now.


**Scenario Three:**

Wolfstar has grown ill and is unable to do anything. He's left you in charge while he is sleeping. There is rumors running through the camp that Silentstar is going to lose a life.
What do you do to reassure them?

Perking up the courage to confront the clan about Wolfstar's illness the dark tom padded out of the leaders den and left both Wolfstar and Pantherleap to do what was needed. He took in a deep breath and slowly made his way over to the high rock, recalling the words of re assurance that he had been told by both the medic and leader- the main reason he hadn't submissed himself to the rumours just yet. With a confident call the tom peered over all those who where currently in camp and sat himself down as though he where about to give a lecture, but instead allowed the cats to notice him in their own time before speaking a word "My dear clan mates - young and old, I sit before you to address the rumours that have been raised about our dear leader, Wolfstar. Being the deputy I can't lie to you, that would be like lying to family, friends even, a most dishonourable thing to do. So, with much discussion I have been instructed to tell you this from Wolfstar himself. 'My dear clan mates, though it is true I am considerably sick I still refuse to let you down. We have worked for too long, too hard to let this clan fall now. As you know I received my nine lives from Starclan and have been very careful with them in case something like this would ever happen. I have plenty to spare and a little bug like this will not be the bitter end of me, if Starclan want me to fall then they'll have to do better than this'." Sirenscreach paused for a moment as the cats bickered below him, arguing with one another and trying to make sense of what he was saying despite it being pretty straight forward. With a deep breath he continued "You see? Wolfstar is a strong and reliable leader, and he is in the care of Pantherleap, a great medic by anyone's standards and she certainly knows what she's doing. think about all the times Panther has helped you out and what a great job she did, now times it by 100 and you have the amount of effort she is putting into Healing Wolfstar. We will e just fine as long as we all help out and take some of the stress off of the both of them, so I ask that if you ever have any free time them you ask me to form a hunting patrol so we can catch prey for the two- or whenever you have a spare moment to pay a visit to Pantherleap and ask if there is anything you can do to help, even the smallest of deeds go a long way. Keep your heads held high and pray for our leader, with that Meeting dismissed" Sirenscreach gave one last glace over the cats before making his way back down from the high rock and padding over to the leaders den where Wolfstar and Pantherleap where still situated, plopping himself down and helping out in any way he could to heal the leader just as he had asked the others to do.

Do you understand that if the leader ever becomes inactive or dies in RP, you will have to take charge of HollowClan both OOC and IC? : I do understand completely, and promise to make sure to do whatever I can IC and OOC if I am chosen as a Deputy. I will stay active as I do everyday, and make sure no problems arise.



Scenario One:
Wolfstar went out to the Moonstone and hasn't been back since dusk, and it is now sunhigh. The clan has grown anxious and patrols need to be arranged.
What do you do?

The she-cat twitched her ears, her green gaze looking upon the anxious clan, she knew she must take charge. Willowrain hopped upon the high stump, softly sitting down onto it. Her gaze was warm, and soft. "Cats of HollowClan! I know you must be worried of your leader. But trust me, there is nothing to worry about! Do you think, that a strong leader such as Wolfstar, will ever be taken down?" She questioned the clan. She puffed out her chest as a joke to help the cheer the clan up. She hopped off the stump, purring as she smiled at every cat. "We have duties to do! Wolfstar shall scold us all if we don't hop right to them! Now, you wouldn't want him getting angry would you?" She purred, chuckling a bit. To her, it seemed the clan was calming down. "Now you may ask, how do we know Wolfstar is safe? Well, he is quite the strong cat. His spirit is stronger than a howling wolf itself. He has defeated many things, and he's possibly just taking a stroll. We should prove to him that we can stay calm under such situations! Whose with me!?" She called out in a question. The clan cats seemed to cheer, seeming to be much more calm. She smiled, purring with much confidence of Wolfstar's return to be very soon. "Now, we must patrol our borders, and with this we also have a chance to find old Wolfstar taking a stroll!" She chuckled, her green optics shining. "Alright, half of the Warriors shall stay here to protect the camp if anything happens, and half the Warriors will come with me to patrol the borders. If anything happens in camp, send a Warrior to find me and we'll be on our way back. Alright Warriors, lets move out!" The she-cat seemed to call out over the camp. She was happy that she could ease the clan. She had confidence that Wolfstar would return. And she would make sure to keep the clan happy and calm and as strong as ever. Because this was her duty.


Scenario Two:
Wolfstar has assigned you to lead a border patrol, but you have caught scent of a Fox in the territory. The patrol isn't even halfway finished and this is a dire situation, you don't want a fox to run into the camp and kill kits.
What do you do?

The she-cat walked around the border with half of the Warrior's by her side. She quickly stopped, her fur bristling. Her warm green gaze seemed to turn icy cold, and sharp. "Stay quiet and get down. I can smell a fox." She whispered, her voice still remaining calm. A few minutes later, she easily spot the intruder. One fox, but it was still dangerous. "Listen here. I want one of you to immediately run back to camp and warn the clan and Wolfstar. Stay there to protect the kits unless Wolfstar says to return to me. Understood?" She whispered. The Warriors nodded, and she quickly ordered one cat to take off back to camp. She looked towards the fox, seeming to look for prey. "Alright, I want three of you to try to intimidate the fox to run out of the borders far away. I want the last two of you to aim to slash at the fox's side when it's distracted. Quickly back up to avoid it hurting you. I'll try to taunt it to follow after me and somehow trick it. Understood?" The warriors seemed to nod at Willowrain's orders. The three Warriors quickly leaped out of the bushes, hissing at the fox. The fox seemed to back up, no doubt getting distracted. The two Warriors sneaked their way around the Fox to it's side, and unsheathed their claws. They quickly slashed at the fox's side, the fox seeming to snarl with pain. He snapped at the two, the two Warriors backing up just in time. Willowrain jumped out of the bushes, the she-cat jumping in front of the fox, hissing furiously. She unsheathed her claws. The fox seemed to snarl leaping at her. Willowrain quickly leaped away, ordering the Warrior's to all try and slash at the fox once more. The fox distracted, they did as told. The fox knew it was out-numbered, but didn't budge just yet. Willowrain quickly leaped at the fox's neck as soon as it looked towards the Warrior's. She managed to let her claws slash across the neck, and the fox quickly whimpered in much pain. Willowrain landed softly on the ground, turning back and hissing at the fox. The Warriors did the same, hissing furiously. The fox backed up, finally whimpering and running off, seeming to run in the direction which lead out of the borders. She silently cleaned her claws that were covered with the fox blood. "Good work. Hopefully everyone is alright? Even if you obtained a scratch, go to the Medic immediately. I don't want anyone hurt." She ordered. The Warriors nodded, but all seemed to say they were alright. Willowrain nodded, smiling with relief. "Let's continue our patrol to make sure there are no others. I want one cat to go to camp and tell the clan as well as Wolfstar that the fox has been taken care of. Stay there to protect the clan just in case, unless Wolfstar orders you to come back." The she-cat ordered, and off a Warrior took off. Hopefully, no more foxes littered the borders, and if there was, she would take care of them one by one.


Scenario Three:

And our medicine cat, Pantherleap, she's amazing! Tell me, those who have been injured, how well Pantherleap has healed you? She has healed your injuries, and took care of you when you were sick. And did you survive? Yes! So how is it that the great Wolfstar can not survive this?" She asked. The clan cats seemed to look upon Willowrain with caring eyes, seeming to understand what she tried to say. "Dear HollowClan, Wolfstar can overcome anything! And it would be petty to let your faith in him drain so easily, would it not?" She asked. The clan seemed to nod, and smiled back at Willowrain. "Our medicine cat knows much about herbs, and trust me, Wolfstar will be victorious, and will not lose a single life whilst he fights against this sickness! You can have my promise at that!" She said, purring with much confidence. She loved seeing the clan be lifted up from their dark thoughts once she spoke to them. The clan seemed to cheer with confidence, starting to chatter about much happier things. She hopped down from the stump, looking towards the den where Wolfstar layed. She wouldn't let a simple rumor make HollowClan lose faith. Never. She would fight for the clan to stay strong, happy, and confident. She wouldn't let them go down without a fight. Never. She would do whatever she could to make sure HollowClan, as well as Wolfstar, would stay safe. Even at the cost of her life.

(I don't have to be chosen, but am so happy I can get a shot at auditioning! If I don't get chosen, thanks anyways! I had much fun in writing this audition! ))
