✓ Optimistic. This she-cat has optimism coming out of her ears.
There is nothing too major she feel she can't take on with a smile on her face, at
least at some point.
✓ Outgoing. Along with being a merry bundle of 'you can do it!!', Foxpaw is also
very perky and outgoing. There will rarely be a time you won't see her smiling or
speaking with someone!
✓ Caring. Fox truly does care about other's problems. When she asks,
it's not just because it's polite, it's because she really does want to help. It
makes her happy to see others happy, and she will do all she can to get them
that way.
✓ Curious. Everything is a question. There is nothing to be questioned
that is too insignificant to be asked. This trait has gained her knowledge others
might've simply overlooked.
• Nosy. While nosy and curious seem the same, for Fox they aren't
always the same. Sometimes her curiosity is harmless, but other times it
can be downright annoying. Often times she can't tell the different between
the two.
• Honest. This has it's downfalls and it's perks. On one paw, you can count on
her to speak her mind truly and honestly. On the other.. she will say what she
thinks, and quite honestly, feelings won't be spared if you ask for her honest
opinion.
✘ Naïve. If you tell Fox something, it is more than likely she'll believe
you without much question. It isn't too terribly often she is truly lied to, but
even if she was, she'd probably believe it.
✘ Reliant. She hates to be alone. Not romantically, just in general. It is one of
her tops fears to be alone for prolonged periods without anyone at all.
✘ Self conscious. Believe it or not, what others think of her matters greatly
to Fox. If someone points out something about her she hadn't given much
thought to she would overthink it to the degree she'd go off and change something
drastic on most occasions.
✘ Restless. She simply cannot sit still. Fox has to be doing something. Her
mind is always working, and so she feels like she has to be, too.

B I R T H:
Born directly before the Flood, Foxkit along with her siblings, Amberkit and Nightkit, were born in the old HollowClan territory, in the Nursery, before the Flood destroyed it.
K I T H O O D:
As a newborn Foxkit and her siblings had to be carried to safety from the rising Flood waters. Her father, Wolfstar, the leader of HollowClan at the time, carried her across a massive log to get to the safety of higher ground. Wolfstar had slipped while still carrying his daughter, though before he fell had barely enough time to toss Foxkit to the log. She landed near one of the other Warriors, who took up the duty of carrying her after that.
Once they made it to the Cave where the Clans would wait out the massive storm, the tiny bundle of soaking fur huddled near her two siblings. Their mother, Firepelt, cleaned them all up and got them situated. Wolfstar was still missing after his fall.
Still not knowing where her father was, Foxkit lived out her first Moon and a half in the cave with the other three Clans. Once she'd learned to communicate all she could do was speak with the others! Her sister, Amberkit, often teased her for this.
It was then she first encountered Crowstar, the leader of LichenClan. He seemed disinterested in her, but she persisted. Eventually giving in to the cold she wandered off to speak with other cats- from each Clan. She even met a friendly BoulderClan kit, Baelkit, who spoke of his brother, Timberkit's, death.
After several interactions with the other cats, Foxkit became very used to speaking with all the cats, no matter the Clan. Even a time came when the former BoulderClan leader, Cloudstar, gave birth to her kits in the Cave. Foxkit wasn't permitted to see, but she heard the nervous voices of the other cats clustered around the she-cat. It was the first time Foxkit had a glimpse into how new kits were brought into the world.
The rest of her time spent in the Caves was fairly uneventful. Eventually, just about at Foxkit's second Moon, the Clans returned to their homes. Everything had been destroyed, HollowClan's camp especially.
The rest of her Moons as a kit were spent playing with her siblings in camp and occasionally attempting to help out rebuilding HollowClan's camp. Though she really didn't help much, she did try many times, often getting under the paws of the older cats.
A P P R E N T I C E S H I P:
At the age of seven Moons, Foxkit was made into an Apprentice. Weaselstar was extremely busy at the time, and Foxkit had heard she was due for kits soon. Because of this she had a quiet ceremony between just herself and the Leader. She was given Bluefoot, the Deputy, as her Mentor.
That same night, Foxpaw was unable to sleep. One of her old Denmates from the Nursery spoke with her and convinced her to go explore outside camp for the first time. Since she was no longer a kit and due to the other cat's taunting, Foxpaw agreed.
Once outside, Foxpaw saw how the camp looked from the outside for the first time. Taken aback, she was too distracted in that moment. Something she never imagined could exist ambushed her- a wolf.
Still a young, small cat Foxpaw was severely outmatched. The wolf grabbed her in it's jaws and flung her about, eventually tossing her foxlengths away once it tired. She had called out for her Clan, but she was too far for anyone to have heard. She even attempted to call out for her long missing father, who she thought would be her last and only hope of surviving this attack. He didn't come, though.
Instead, a LichenClan Warrior came to her aid. A large tom called Smokefrost. He didn't hesitate to try and defend her, and leapt on the wolf's back to distract the thing. Taking heed of his actions, Foxpaw crawled to safety. Worried for the Warrior, who was unknown to her at the time, she desperately wanted to be sure they were alright.
Swimming in and out of a hazy blackness Foxpaw struggled to stay conscious as she attempted to make sure her savior escape the wolf's grasp. Though it seemed they had run off with the wolf on their tail.
Spending a week and a half in the Medicine Cat's den for her wounds to heal, Foxpaw curiously looked in on the Medicine Cat on several occasions. Being bound to the den for those days was new to her, and she learned a few basic things from the Medicine Cat. Foxpaw was delighted to have the new knowledge.
Still very curious about the LichenClan Warrior who saved her, Foxpaw took the remainder of her time before the Migration to dwell on it. She was grateful to the Warrior for what he did, but a realization hit her at the same time. That creature had been a wolf. Reminded of her missing father, this is when Foxpaw finally accepted that he wasn't coming home. He was gone for good.
A few days after this, the wolf attacks became more intense. So much so that Weaselstar declared HollowClan would be leaving the territory. Without the other Clans. So, on that note, Weaselstar, Bluefoot, Foxpaw, and the rest of their Clanmates set off, leaving their home. Though unknown to her at the time, this move would not be temporary.
The other Clans eventually joined up with them, along with the Shades of Wraith, and together the four groups made their way together after a wolf had pursued them into fleeing even further. Now, stuck in a cave with all these cats, Foxpaw has been trying to make the best of it. Speaking to whomever she can, keeping her spirits up and attempting to do the same for those around her. And so the first leg of this new voyage begins for them all.
During the Migration, Foxpaw stuck be Stagheart and Weaselstar's side, favoring the two older cats to many of the others since she felt secure with them. When Rowanfoot was declared the Murderer Foxpaw was shocked, but did not have any part of his demise. When the Clans finally reached their new home her sister, Amberkit, began to talk with her more.
One day, out of the blue, Foxpaw, Nightpaw, and Amberpaw's mother made a sudden return to HollowClan's camp. Having not seen her for Moons, Amberpaw and Foxpaw approached with caution, not entirely sure who she was at first. Once they figured it out, Amberpaw was happy to speak with her mother, but Foxpaw was still cautious, despite knowing the she-cat's identity. When Wolfdusk disappeared Foxpaw had distanced herself from many of the things she used to love, and having Firepelt back felt like a blow rather than a relief. Their mother didn't stick around long, but Foxpaw did get to tell her she loved her before she was off again. After that incident Foxpaw began to distance herself from others again, and didn't speak with her sister or brother much again for a long while.
Foxpaw received a new Mentor, Stagheart. The tom who she looked up to and highly admired, and who filled the void after her father had disappeared. For the last bit of her Apprenticeship she trained with the tom, and grew to like him even more, considering him a good friend. (OOC: She didn't have a crush on him, she just really respected him.)
Right before it was time for the trio of Apprentices to become Warriors, the kit's mother made another reappearance. This time again only to Amberpaw and Foxpaw. The two sisters were out together on a mini patrol and came across their mother, Firepelt, wandering the woods. The three spoke, and after some chat Firepelt was taken back to HollowClan's camp where Weaselstar reaccepted her into the Clan.
The three's Warrior ceremonies were due shortly after.
W A R R I O R . L I F E:
Made a Warrior at 17 Moons of age, Foxlily, Ambercoyote, and Nighthowl all received their Warrior names from Weaselstar. Their mother had been there to witness them becoming Warriors. Before the ceremony officially ended, a stranger called out to them from the shadows. Nighthowl approached the unknown character aggressively, and the stranger made a startling announcement; he was the kit's father, Wolfdusk.
A brief encounter with the now aging tom, Nighthowl had decided not to trust him, while Ambercoyote and Foxlily were still on the fence. Wolfdusk's former mate, Firepelt, defended him and vouched for his story, much to Foxlily's surprise. Words and insults were thrown, accusations were claimed, and feelings were damaged. However, all three of the kits did get to see their father once, briefly, before he ran away. It is unknown to the three if he will come back.
After a short-lived experience of collecting herbs at the twoleg place, Foxlily returned back to camp without them when twolegs came after the patrol. While the others hunted, she had been busy nosing through plants - and did end up finding some catmint, which she almost ate - when a kittypet came out yowling at them. Weaselstar attacked the poor tom, and took him back to camp as a prisoner now called Clawedface.
A few days later, a new ceremony arrived. Stagheart's first litter of kits became Apprentices, and some older Apprentices got their Mentors. One cat in particular, Mousepaw, received Foxlily as her Mentor. The two had been playing by the river only a day earlier, and Foxlily already had a liking for the young she-cat. Shortly after the ceremony finished, a patrol was sent out, and Foxlily and Mousepaw were to be on the more exciting one.
When the patrol, consisting of some of the new Apprentices and Mentors, along with Weaselstar, Foxlily and Mousepaw set off in their own direction to patrol. It was their group that had found something surprised- a lost twoleg kit. Foxlily approached the thing cautiously, and warned Mousepaw to stay back. Her Apprentice heeded to her and kept her distance while Foxlily examined the thing. When Weaselstar approached she was informed of what the thing actually was. The other cats on the patrol also came up to examine the kit, and Foxlily stepped back to allow them all to form their opinions about it.
Once it was decided to find the kit's parents, it was Foxlily who was called upon to go fetch them. On her way out, she recruited the assistance of Buzzardclaw and Shellpaw who made up the patrol. Buzzardclaw lead, and eventually they found the kit's parents out calling for their young. While Buzzardclaw and Foxlily tried to befriend the things and have them follow, the Apprentice was distracted by something and wasn't of much assistance. However, the two Warriors were able to lure the parents back to their kit and reunite them all. After that, the patrol headed back for some much deserved rest.
A few days later Foxlily met a new cat while stuck in the Medicine Cat's den with a slight case of greencough. Her name was Fawnpaw, and it dawned on Foxlily then that not all the cats were getting better. Sagelight, the new Medicine Cat, hadn't gotten to her yet, and she wasn't doing too well. Trying her best to cheer up the sick she-cat, Foxlily spoke with her for a short time before departing to let her sleep. Soon after, her Apprentice, Mousepaw, came into the den and surprised Foxlily with news that she'd found some frogs to go after. Of course, at this, Foxlily was eager just to get out of the den, and going with her new Apprentice and friend would a plus!
Once the two settled on a spot, Foxlily turned the adventure into a training session as well, with Mousepaw- or "Mousestar's", rather - help they managed to get a good huddle of frogs for the Clan. With their first successful session, the two headed back to camp with as many frogs as they could carry. It even proved to be useful for Foxlily as well, as it boosted up her ability to hunt frogs.
