Hello everyone in Viridity! As you know, HollowClan has been going through some lows. And now; it's time for a new deputy to lead alongside Beetlestar.

But first, please do not audition if :

- You are going to be inactive, I will not hesitate to replace you if you go inactive for 5 days. You will return to being a warrior and the second runner up will have your rank.

- Please don't audition if you're only in it for the rank and power that comes with it.

- If you're going to be disrespectful I will remove you from the title of deputy.

And without any further remarks, here comes the auditions! Remember, I want IN CHARACTER responses of what YOUR CHARACTER would do. Not you.

HOW MANY CATS DO YOU HAVE IN VIRIDITY?

YOU UNDERSTAND IF ANYTHING IS TO HAPPEN TO BEETLESTAR IC OR OOC YOU WILL TAKE HIS PLACE AS LEADER AND CONTINUE TO LEAD HOLLOWCLAN?


1. Beetlestar has been... very ill lately. The Clan is quite aware he will lose a life, HollowClan's spirits are very low as Beetlestar slowly loses his life. What do you do to raise HollowClan's spirits?


2. The morning patrol has spotted a fox den, mothers fear that their kits will be stolen in the night! Beetlestar is seeking guidance with StarClan, leaving you in charge of camp for a few days. Do you protect the camp or go to chase the fox out?

3. HollowClan has just caught scent of LichenClan in the territory - many cats are angry and want to attack LichenClan as payback, Beetlestar simply wants to send a patrol to ask about his warriors. Who do you side with?

How many cats do you have in Viridity? 2: Cardinalfur from LichenClan and Bluefoot from HollowClan.

Your deputy's name and description. Bluefoot - Female - 30 moons - Bluefoot is a graceful and noble she-cat that has lots of patience. She loves to socialize and can go along with changes, be it big or small. Despite how relaxed and calm she can be, Bluefoot can loves to debate on the decisions the leader makes, which can cause small arguments. But she will keep her cool almost the whole time, depending on how bothered she gets. In appearance- she is a Russian blue with sky blue eyes, with all of her paws painted white except her front right paw.

How active are you? Explain. I'm on daily, ranging from 1 pm to 10 pm UTC-04:30 time. (Not sure if you all that time is even understandable. Let's say that I'm probably 30 minutes - 1 hour ahead of you guys.) If I'm not on it's because I'm temporarily restricted to using the computer, homework overload or studying for tests. But all in all, I'm on almost everyday. 

You understand if anything is to happen to Beetlestar IC or OOC you will take his place as leader and continue to lead HollowClan? Yes, I understand and I am ready and willing to become leader, and take on the responsibilities and activity that come with being in that position. I believe I have the qualities in becoming HollowClan's leader.

    Bluefoot, exiting the medicine cats den after checking up on Beetlestar would then bound up to the high stump, releasing a caterwaul to silence the loud murmurs that ran throughout camp that told about the ill leader. "Cats of HollowClan.. As most of you know, Beetlestar has fallen ill. I ask you all to please have faith in our leader and pray to StarClan that he will recover soon, and rise to be healthy and be once again the Beetlestar we all know and love. He is a strong, confident cat and he's in good paws- the lot of you know that as well, Pantherleap has tended many of us well and helped us gain our recovery. I have no doubt that Beetlestar will lose a life, and I hope you cats know that too. But, don't be alarmed- we must continue our lives as Warriors, and I'm sure that's what Beetlestar would want us to do, with or without him." Her eyes pierced into every cats soul as she wavered her tail around as she spoke meaningfully and truthfully, reassuring the Hollowclanners.

    The scent of the fox drifted into her nostrils, and looked around for her biggest Warriors. "Sirenwhisper, Rowanheart, please go tell the queens and their kits to hide in the nursery for a couple of days, and all of our younger apprentices to stick with one of our smaller Warriors and remain in the den, around camp." Bluefoot demanded to the two large toms, watching them as they head off. With a flick of her tail, she urged to send a couple of cats out to scout the fox's area, some staying there only for a couple of minutes if they catch sight of the orange canine. While most of the cats were back protecting and constantly marking the borders within the campgrounds, Blue set out herself to begin planting a small trap for the unsuspecting scoundrel. Carefully setting some poisonous plants inside and outside of the den, surely the fox would never see it coming. If the plan had succeeded, HollowClan no longer had to remain in hiding. If not, they would make a thoroughly planned ambushed, and get rid of the fox once and for all. 

3. HollowClan has just caught scent of LichenClan in the territory - many cats are angry and want to attack LichenClan as payback, Beetlestar simply wants to send a patrol to ask about his warriors. Who do you side with?

    Trailing onto the High Stump once again, Bluefoot yowled for the angry meows and growls to quiet down, for it was her turn to speak about the Lichenclanners intruding their territory. "HollowClan, I understand that you may be angry for LichenClan coming to our campgrounds, but Beetlestar knows best, and all of you should know that as well." The fae began a bit harsh, disappointed in the distrust these cats had for their leader. "If we attack, this will only cause war, and disruption of peace between the clans. Nobody wants that. It's best we simply interrogate LichenClan's Warriors, as Beetlestar wants to do, to get the least information about them- StarClan knows why, but have trust in our leader." She concluded her speech, hoping to calm down these aggravated cats. Watching bristled fur slowly matten, and sudden relaxation between the felines, Bluefoot stepped down from her perch and made her way through the sea of Hollowclanners.

Hey guys! While Beetle greatly appreciates any audition and effort put into your auditions, I think I should inform you that each question is supposed to be written like an RP sample! Again, they do appreciate it and you are writing well, but it's just the format you're using.

For example
"Beetlestar is sick today and the clan is worried, what should you do?"

(nameofchar) sat upon the high ledge, peering around the camp quietly. The leader had been sick for quite some time now. (blahblah,morewords,justanexample). "Cats of HollowClan!" Yelled the deputy. "Beetlestar is indeed sick, but our clan remains healthy!" (morewordseheheh)


So you see, you write the audition as though your character has already been chosen, and that you are RPing them as the official deputy in the map.
There might be some examples laying around the site under older auditions, or I can PM you a full example if you're still confused.

Beetle will probably be okay with the current one, but it's preferred that you RP it and I'm posting for any future entries and if anyone wants to redo theirs.
