As per usual, some simple guidelines.

- PLEASE DO NOT AUDITION IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE INACTIVE! I WILL NOT PICK AN INACTIVE MEMBER TO HOLD THIS RANK. I WILL NOT HESITATE TO REMOVE THOSE HOGGING THE RANK. (You will have a warning, and five days to log back on or I will remove you.)

-YOU MUST PARTICIPATE IN ROLEPLAY, I KNOW MEDDIES ARE BORING UNTIL ACTION COMES IN BUT PLEASE DEVELOP YOUR CHARACTER BESIDES "meddyfur heals cats the end"

A grey and white she-cat with Ice blue eyes, possibly half blind in one of them.

She's a mellow feline, obedient towards her Mentor, Leader, and StarClan. She would do all she can to help her Clan strive with good health. Even if it meant giving up her life. She loves the feeling of being near herbs, and Shiverpaw wouldn't have chosen a different rank if she had the choice.

    "Oh dear, of all the times in the year, (HollowClan Queen) has to have mated during Late new-leaf or Leaf-bare...." Shiverpaw fretted. "Then again, more kits means more future warriors, and HollowClan needs to get every Warrior they can get...." The feline bounced to her mentor, /"But that means more mouths to feed."/ Shaking her head from the thoughts, she asked Whiteberry of what she needed to do, and what was the right decision before going and acting it out alone.

    "You should leave most of the herbs here and take a small bundle to the queen immediately. Do all you can to keep them all healthy." Whiteberry urged the small apprentice towards the bare herb stock.

    "Okay, Whiteberry, you're almost always right, I guess we can spare some herbs for the queen, she is one of us, and I am happy to do so." Shiverpaw smiled before grasping, not a lot, but enough of the herbs to sustain the she-cats pain and to make the kitting much easier.

He is also shaking with fear, which will make it hard to pull the objects out of his paw pads. What herbs to you use to soothe the tom?

    Shiverpaw took the apprentices paw, and made him relax his foreleg against the nest, giving Smallpaw a reassuring lick on the forehead, "It's okay, but please stop shaking like a small dog." The she-cat giggled right before she pranced to the herb stock- wait- what was she doing!? This is a serious matter, if Smallpaws paw gets damaged even more- he could possibly lose all feeling in it.

    No. Shiverpaw won't let that happen. Grunting, she reached for the thyme that was neatly stacked next to the juniper berries. Pawing at two poppy seeds so it would numb his paw.

3. Weaselstar has finally come back from one of her strolls, she is gravely wounded and has many cuts and nicks on her pelts. The scar on her face has reopened and she is slipping out of consciousness. What do you do?

    Shiverpaw didn't hesitate to go over to the leader, helping the limping ginger she-cat to a nest before she started to examine her pelt. Making a few clicking noises with her tongue, Shiverpaw sighed. Turning around, the white and grey feline searched the herbs until she found a plentiful supply of Marigold.

    Taking the flower in her mouth, she started to chew it into politice, moving over so she sat in front of the leader, Shiverpaw gently rasped her tongue over the cuts and scrapes with the green-yellow substance.

    After that, Shiverpaw prodded a couple of poppy seeds to Weaselstar, "This will help with the pain." Shiverpaw reasurred the injured feline before her. As Weaselstar ate the black seeds, Shiverpaw gathered a clump of cobweb and placed them on the more deep and open wounds, that would possibly scar.

YOUR MEDICINE CATS NAME, DESCRIPTION, AND PERSONALITY. : Stagheart, pale white tom, dappled face, pale yellow eyes, 41 moons. Stagheart is what you call overly-caring, and will do anything to cheer up someone whos down, let alone heal them. He has a love for kits, or any cat who has an optimistic look on the world. However he is secretly very very depressed, the recent death of his daughter and soon to be death of his mate. A smile always manges to be on his face though.

Stagheart bolted upright, /Kits? NOW? Dear Starclan why now!./ He padded out of his den, "Take me to her, Bluefoot." He signaled her to wait a moment while he went back into the cozy den and retrieved a stick, thyme would be necessary,grabbing it along with some chervil he made his way back to Bluefoot and followed her across the clearing.
"(Queens name), I need you to chew on this," he handed her the chervil leaves. "then bite down on this, hard, when you feel the kits coming okay?" He placed the thyme next to him, he would give it to her after the kitting.

The queen birthed her kits and he cleaned up, making way back to his den with a sigh. /These kits must make it through leaf bare, or else my efforts will be for nothing./



2. A hunting patrol has just returned to camp, and Smallpaw has come to you and shows you his paw, his pads are cut and there are shards of rock, and twigs in his paw. He is also shaking with fear, which will make it hard to pull the objects out of his paw pads. What herbs to you use to soothe the tom?

"My paw! My pwa ooooh my paw it aaches!" The apprentice came limping into my den, exstending a paw awkwardly. He needed to be calmed down before Stagheart could do anything. "(Name)paw, you need to be still if you want me to take those out, dont worry ill put some coltsfoot on it afterwards to sooth it."
The apprentice aggreed and layed on his side, the thyme leaves between his jaws as he chewed at them. Stagheart stalled and asked the apprentice about his day until he had calmed down. Only then would he YANK the thorns and rocks from his pad. The apprentice struggled a bit, and sheilded his injured paw afterwards.
"Give me your paw, i'm not done." He redied the paste of coltsfoot. "This shouldnt sting, and your paw will ease of pain." The paste was coated onto the injured area, and he sent him on his way.



3. Weaselstar has finally come back from one of her strolls, she is gravely wounded and has many cuts and nicks on her pelts. The scar on her face has reopened and she is slipping out of consciousness. What do you do?

Weaselstar should be coming back soon, he was getting worried. His ears perked then dropped against his head as she entered camp, struggling. He was at her side in an instant, "Weaselstar, who did this? Nevermind that now, we can talk later." He had her lean on him as he led her to a nest in his den. Right away he gathered a few poppy seeds, many cobwebs, and me chewed a mixture of dandelion, goldenrod,and marigold for her flank. The reopened scar on her face her would create a mixture of oak leaves and comfrey, to stop infection.
She was co-operative when he gave her the poppy seeds, she would slip into a light daze as he applied the mixtures to her wounds.

Name: Fern

Personality: Fern is a very loud and blunt cat. When you first meet her, it may seem like she's rude, or out of control, but it's really just her inability to think before she speaks. This can sometimes chase her friends away, but it makes her a very truthful cat. If she sees you doing something that she doesn't deem good for you or others, she's more likely to tell you up front than she is to just keep it to herself.

Around 7-8/10. I'm trying to become more active, but computer problems at home make it difficult.

Fern had been messing around with some apprentices, teaching them how to make moss balls that wouldn't fall apart, or how to effectively whack each other across the rump with sticks so that the stick wouldn't go flying when they attacked. This was going all well up until the point where her name was literally screamed from the other end of the camp. Jumping up, she would nod her goodbyes to the apprentices, running to the cat who had called her name. It had been Bluefoot, in the end, and she nodded to her, asking, "What's up? I was just teaching the apprentices how... to uh... properly change bedding." She said, trying to save herself, and the apprentices from potential punishments. "There's no time for that, we have a queen giving birth... and we don't know how strong she really is." Bluefoot panted, tired from sprinting across the camp.

Looking at the deputy, she sighed, "Now? I have barely any herbs... though, I guess it's not really her fault the timing is bad." She said, running to her den to grab her herbs. She quickly came back out, carrying what she needed.

When she had reached the nursery, Fern sat down next to the mother, trying to calm her down, she began to make conversation, "Lovely day, isn't it?" She asked, getting to work, not even expecting an answer from the queen. She simply began by giving the mother a stick, and also some herbs to keep up her strength. The herbs included chervil, and ragwort leaves. After suck had been applied, she began her real work.

Not long after, the queen's kits were born, and all happily suckling on their mother. Fern looked down at them, proud that she had successfully delivered such beautiful kittens. Before she left the mother, she gave her some borage leaves to help her produce milk. When that was done, she concluded that her job was finished, and finished well.

Smallpaw and the patrol had just gotten back when Fern had gotten the message about Small's paws. Rushing him to her den, she would quickly begin by giving the apprentice poppy seeds to calm him down. She would also try and make conversation with him, hoping it would keep him from slipping back into his panic. Before she began, she gave the tom some dandelion, hoping to ease his pain.

Quickly getting to work on his injuries, Fern would extract the rocks and twigs from his paws, making sure to do it carefully as to not tear his feet up even more.

When she was finally finished pulling all of the shards out of his paws, she would chew an oak leaf poultice, to help with infection. Using that and cobwebs, she would bandage the tom's paws up. When all was done, she looked at him, somewhat sadly. "Sorry, kid, but this means you'll be out of commission for a few days, ya hear?"

Rushing to see what the commotion was, Fern looked on to see Weaselstar returning from her usual stroll... but this time something was wrong. Looking at her apprentice urgently, she told them, "Get my supplies, I'll bring Weasel into the den immediately." Something was definable wrong with their leader.

When Fern's supplies had been fetched and Weasel had been brought into the den, they both got straight to work. "Try and get her to take this, it's burnet, she's slipping in and out, this should help give her some strength." While the time was urgent, it was also the perfect time to explain herbs and their uses to her apprentice. Once they had fed her that, both got to work, trying to fix the reopened scars. "Chew me some oak leaf poultice." She ordered, running off to quickly get some cob webs. When both had been done, she quickly fixed the scars up.

Moving on from those wounds, she worked on the cuts on her pelt. This time, she used a marigold poultice. It wasn't as thick as the oak leaf one and would serve greatly on Weasel's pelt rather than her face.

When all of the wounds had been fixed up, and Weasel seemed stable again, the two med cats relaxed, both exhaling loudly. "She should be fine for now..." Fern said loudly, putting her head on her apprentice's affectionately. "You did good!" She exclaimed, looking back down at them.

Name: Tawnyshade

Description: A elderly tortoiseshell she-cat with dull green eyes, she is 60 moons or 5 human years

Personality: Tawnyshade can be very cranky and snappy at impatient or rude cats, and generally makes snarky comments when in a foul mood. If she's asked about her past she normally avoids the topic, and if you push her to much she'll snap at you. Even so Tawnyshade is a generally nice cat, and overall does care for her patients.. If you play your cards right that is. She also feels that a mate is not needed for her life, as she is too old for many cats anyways.

I am around 9/10, I'm on every day possible which is nearly everyday. And if Hollowclan is struggling with activity, I will try to be on as best I can and encourage others to get on as well.

Tawnyshade's dulled eyes widened as she stood up abruptly in front of the blue pelted deputy, the elderly she-cat seemed to be distant before she nodded her head, in a silent decision, before she quickly turned to her herb stock. Her dull green eyes looked at it before she hurriedly grabbed the largest Beech leaf she had and began putting other things inside of it. She grabbed a bit of moss, Chervil, Raspberry leaves, a strong stick, and finally placed Thyme into the bundle and wrapped it up. Once she was finished she turned back to Bluefoot, "Take me to her now!" She demanded in a gruff voice as the two quickly headed for the Nursery, where yowling could already be heard inside.

Cursing to the stars silently under her breath, she entered and unfolded the bundle. "Someone put the Beech leaf under her, now, quickly!" She snapped before grabbing the chervil and chewing it up. She dripped the juices onto the moss and offered it the the queen, "You will need the herbs I give you." She said in a gravelly meow, before she placed the Raspberry leaves and Thyme in front of the she-cat nose, she calmly waited for the queen to eat them before Tawnyshade placed the stick into the queen mouth, "Bite that every time you feel pain, the herbs will help but I can't take all of it away." She said soothingly before she positioned herself by the she-cat's rump, and waited for her contractions.

(*skips birth*)

Tawnyshade let a smile grace her features, using the herbs was worth it as she pushed three young, healthy, kittens by the queen's belly. "Take it easy for now, and get some rest, you will need it." She meowed softly to the queen, her dark head turning to a nearby tom-cat, "Watch over her and make sure that the kits eat alright?" She asked as her eyes narrowed sternly. After the tom's quick nod she left the den with a tired sigh.

Tawnyshade let out a long sigh as she watched a young tom come shaking into her den. "My paw i-it hurts!" He meowed fearfully as he extended a paw to her, and she nodded slowly, turning to her herb stock she grabbed Thyme, Coltsfoot, Comfrey root and Cobwebs. "Easy Smallpaw, take this and chew it up while you lay down for me." She instructed as she passed the tom the Thyme leaf. "This will hurt, but it will be better once these rocks are out of your paw." She meowed as she held his paw at an angle on the ground. Tawnyshade quickly began to pull the twigs and rocks from it, careful not to cut up his already torn paw while she ignored his hisses of pain as she pulled each object out of the wpunded paw. Although after some time had passed she turned and grabbed the other two herbs her her side and began to chew them up into a fine poultice. "Hang in there Smallpaw." She grunted before she placed the mixture onto his paw, and after swiftly wrapping the paw with the cobwebs the elderly Medicine cat sat up. "You may go now." She meowed to him curtly as she watched him sit up and walk out with a light limp.

Tawnyshade's head lifted as Weaselstar entered the camp, and hardly made it a few pawsteps before the ginger leader fell. Tawnyshade's eyes widened before she got to her paws and headed into her den quickly, her paws swiftly grabbing Horsetail, Marigold, Cobwebs and Poppy seeds. The dark furred elder turned and rushed from the den towards her leader quickly, not wasting time as she stood next to the fallen cat, "Easy Weaselstar, try to stay awake for me." She meowed gruffly as she grabbed the Marigold and Horsetail, beginning to chew the herbs into a poultice as she examined the leader's wounds carefully.

She shook her head before she began placing cobwebs on the leader's wounds to help stop the bleeding before she applied anything to them, and waited a few moments before removing them and quickly putting the poultice onto her facial scar, by far the worst wound right now. After that she looked at the gathering cats, "Somecat wrap her face with fresh cobwebs! Now!" She hissed, her tail lashing as he turned to apply the poultice to the ginger she-cat's other wounds. "What did you get yourself into this time Weasel." She meowed in a grave, soft tone towards the currently drifting leader. She wouldn't loose too much blood here, "And give her some Poppy seeds, she's out of the red." She meowed in a less harsh tone.

(I am so sorry if any of this does not make sense, I am a bit tired ^^

YOUR MEDICINE CATS NAME, DESCRIPTION, AND PERSONALITY.

Name: Bubblekit, will very soon be Bubblepaw.

Bubble has the appearance of a small, fluffy and thin tom-cat. He has blinded light blue eyes, and small bubble like circles that scatter on his back, along with faded stripes going down the very middle to end of his tail tip. Bubblekit(-paw) has a very joyous personality, and appreciates every cat that he can befriend. Because of him being blind, he is easily spooked at the slightest sounds. He is rather timid, and only speaks out when he desires to do so. He is rather faithful, and would do anything to help his clan. The smell of herbs calm him, and you will often see him sitting unaccompanied near the stream.


HOW ACTIVE ARE YOU? WILL YOU BE ACTIVE EVEN WHEN HOLLOWCLAN IS STRUGGLING WITH ACTIVITY?

I am most active during weekends, but I always try and pop on right after school for a few hours. Unless I have to study for an important test or work on a project. I will most likely always be online though, so inactivity with me won't be my problem.

I will be as active as possible, and if HollowClan suddenly struggles with activity then I will do everything in my right mind to be on as much as physically possible.

A familiar aroma of one of his clan members hit young Bubblekit's nose. The sound of racing footsteps made the inexperienced tom-cat bounce to his feet, and the loud yowling of a she-cat blasted his ears. " B - Birth!? Oh my .. oh my .. " The young tom's head pivoted around as he searched for the scent of his mentor. " I'll let my mentor know, and we'll be there as soon as possible! "

A small pile of three to four herbs lay on a leaf. Bubblepaw had located his mentor, and was instructed  to get the following. The largest raspberry leaf that he could sniff out, and feel. That would ease the pain, but not necessarily all of it during the kitting. A tough stick, which he now firmly grasped in his mouth. A tiny bit of borage, for the kitting queen to eat after the newborn's had been born for a better milk supply. Lastly, a bit of thyme for if any shock or nervous breakdown started to appear during or after the birth. The young apprentice wrapped that all in the bare leaf, and managed to neatly clasp it between his jaws.
As quickly as he could manage, he raced towards the scent of the nursery. The sweet scent of milk and warmth filled his nose as he entered  the small tavern, and small mewls of pain could already be heard from the queen. He handed the stick and leaf to his busily working mentor, and began to assist as much as possible. Calmly shoving the raspberry leaves towards the pained queen. " E - Eat these, this will help ease the pain. Calm down and take deep breaths, and bite down on this stick when contractions come. " He explained, soothingly licking the she-cat in between the ears.

~One More Quick Time Skip~

Young Bubblepaw purred contently, sniffing each little bundle that now lay snuggled into the now kitted queen's stomach. " I'm sure they're beautiful. They'll be fine warriors of this clan! " He exclaimed, stepping back to give the queen a bit more room for her as well as her kittens. He heard the suckling of the milk that she provided, and he pushed a borage leaf towards the exhausted she. " Rest as soon as possible, you'll need it! I'm happy this birth went well. " With a quick nod for his mentor and a mew for him from the queen acknowledging she would be fine for now, he gave a toothy grin and stalked out of the den with his mentor. ' What an exhausting day, maybe I can catch up on some sleep! ' He thought to himself, as the overly joyed, and exhausted apprentice trotted back into the medicine cat's den.

2. A hunting patrol has just returned to camp, and Smallpaw has come to you and shows you his paw, his pads are cut and there are shards of rock, and twigs in his paw. He is also shaking with fear, which will make it hard to pull the objects out of his paw pads. What herbs to you use to soothe the tom?

A long, distressed mew reached the young apprentices ears and the sound of approaching footsteps caught his attention. His head turned in different directions to see as to where his mentor might be, but their scent was nowhere at the moment, except the slightly fresh one of (his/her) nest that he rested beside. He guessed he'd have to deal with this distraught cat himself. With quick strides, he pranced over to where the scent of the cat was, and sat down, curling his tail by his paws. " I heard your call, what seems to be the matter? " He purred.

When the young apprentice had explained what had happened, young Bubblepaw flinched. Infection might spread if he didn't get those out soon. He searched his thoughts and tried to remember which herb was which and what he would use to get those shards and pieces of twig out. It also seemed the cat was greatly shaken up, Bubblepaw could tell, especially from the fear scent filling the room they sat in. " Okay, okay. Just take deep breaths. We'll get those out, don't worry. While I go get the herbs needed, lay in a nest and roll on your side with your paw extended towards me. That'll make it easier for me to get to everything, and get it all done as quick as possible. " He explained. With that, he turned tail and sprinted off to the herb stash.

When he entered the small little area that held the herbs, he sniffed around. He would need Poppy seed, to ease away at least some of the pain, but he'd only give him one. He needed Smallpaw conscious when it took place. Marigold, so infection would be prevented. Chamomile, to calm his shaking. It would make it easier to get everything out that way. Cobwebs, for if anything started bleeding and lastly, a bit of Horsetail. That would give an extra layer of protection, to keep away infection. Not like the marigold wouldn't work, but he'd rather do it to be safe than sorry. Of course Bubblepaw would keep a slight watch this afternoon on the paw wound, as well as inform his mentor about the young cat just in case it might seem it was/might be getting worse. He laid all the needed herbs on a bare leaf and picked it up from two sides gently and quickly trotted out of the room and back to the scent of Smallpaw.

The small cat laid the leaf down and sniffed at the few items that lay near him. First, he'd give the young one the one poppy seed to numb him in the slightest. ' ' That way, it won't hurt as bad. ' He thought. He then wrapped a small bit of cobwebs around his paw he wasn't using for later use. " Alright, just hang in there. I'll do them one at a time, it will hurt but the poppy seed should at least numb some of the pain. " He explained, crouching down and touching the injured paw-pad for a moment. He opened his mouth and guided his teeth to grab hold of a shard of rock, and gently but quickly as possible, yank it out. He ignored the mewing of pain, and continued to easily pull each piece of the protruding item out of the apprentice's soft flesh. When he felt for certain that every piece of wood, and shard of rock had disappeared he lifted himself up and began to chew the marigold. Smearing the poultice on the cat's paw, he finally finished it all off by wrapping cobwebs on the torn up paw-pad. " Alright, all done. That wasn't that bad was it? Now, rest here for a while. I'll be keeping an eye - well .. my nose and hearing on that pad, and I'll inform my mentor of you and your injuries when he/she shows again. If the pain worsens when you awaken, tell me or my mentor! " He turned his back on the young cat and sunk back into his nest, resting his eyes but keeping his ears locked on any movement. Another patient successfully healed! He purred contently to himself and curled up for a quick rest.

3. Weaselstar has finally come back from one of her strolls, she is gravely wounded and has many cuts and nicks on her pelts. The scar on her face has reopened and she is slipping out of consciousness. What do you do?

The stench of a wounded cat threw the young apprentice off for a moment, and he gulped. Who was hurt now, and with such a lessened supply of herbs at this moment. If this cat was gravely injured, he'd need to use what he and his own mentor had still supplied very wisely. The sound of his mentor racing off into the clearing made him bounce to his paws and follow his/her stench, along with the injured scent of Weaselstar. " W - W .. Weaselstar is injured?! What's wrong!? Is she okay!? " He began to pivot his heard around, his mentor ignoring his apprentices own little nervous breakdown. His/her tone was stern after they had looked over the leader. " Bubblepaw, get me a poppy seed, a large wad of cobwebs, marigold, and horsetail with some thyme. Quickly! " He/she yelled urgently. Bubble made no pause, and quickly rushed back to the scent of the herb stash. His paws and nose sniffed out each individual item as quick as he possibly was able, and he put them on a leaf and trotted back to where his mentor and Weaselstar laid out in the clearing.

His mentor went straight to work with the face wound, spitting the marigold in a poultice and rubbing it on her face, and finishing it off by gently dabbing and sticking the reopened cut on her face with cobwebs. A sharp, stern mew threw Bubblepaw off. " Bubblepaw, apply the rest of the marigold on the wounded area's of her pelt and apply the horsetail afterwards, along with the cobwebs. " He/she would quickly sputter out, along with a quick whisper to the still slightly conscious Weaselstar telling her to eat the poppy seed that his apprentice had brought back. The young cat got to work straight away, or as quick as he could anyway. Chewing up the rest of the marigold on the leaf and spreading it on the part's of her pelt he had been told to check. Once he had finished that, he chewed up the horsetail and added it to her pelt as well, leaving a leaf to his mentor so he/she could add some to the she-cat leader's face. With all that done, he finished it off with a lot of cobwebs and thyme then gulped. " W - Will she be alright? "

He was answered in a soft tone of voice this time. " Yes, she will be. She just needs to rest up, and lessen her physical activity for a while. We'll just need to keep a close eye on her, and in your case a close nose and hearing. Just check up on her when I'm out of camp, or helping another cat. " He/she purred. " You may go, Bubblepaw. Go to the medicine den, just in case there is trouble. I'll stay here with Weaselstar. " With that, young Bubble nodded and trotted away from his mentor and the leader back towards the medicine den.

(Meh, this audition  is worth a shot but to be honest considering I'm still working on getting better at roleplay I probably won't make it. Oh well, that's alright. It's worth a shot to try out anyway.)

I seriously don't want the rp to end without HollowClan having a medicine cat missing in action. It's been two months since we've had an active one, and it's come to the point where I've had to make a temporary meddy cat to make sure nobody in HollowClan dies. So please, audition.
